A standard rugged GPS navigation tablet is generally suitable for route and fleet workflows, while surveying and precision projects may require a dual-frequency or RTK GNSS tablet with NTRIP and an external antenna.


4G and 5G can support online maps, A-GNSS and RTK correction delivery, but they do not replace the GNSS receiver.
