BIOS Display Settings - Display Output Options: Auto, IGFX, PEG, PCI
1.Restart the server and press the Del key to enter the BIOS setup.
Use the arrow keys (↑, ↓, ←, →) to navigate the cursor. Press the Enter key to select or confirm.
2.Move the cursor to Advanced → Chipset Configuration.
3.Select System Agent (SA) Configuration.
4.Go to Graphics Configuration.
5.Modify the Primary Display setting:
IGFX: Refers to the integrated graphics in the CPU or the motherboard’s onboard graphics.
PEG: Refers to a discrete graphics card in a PCI-E slot (most common).
PCI: Refers to a discrete graphics card in a PCI slot.
AUTO (default):The motherboard automatically determines the graphics output—typically prioritizing a PEG/PCI discrete graphics card over integrated graphics.
If a mainstream PCI-E discrete graphics card is installed, selecting AUTO or PEG should suffice. However, if both a discrete graphics card and integrated graphics are present, and you want to use the integrated graphics in an Intel CPU, you’ll need to change this setting to IGFX in the BIOS. Before saving and restarting the computer, ensure the monitor is connected to the motherboard’s integrated display output.
