Introduction to Advantech's scalable and compact industrial computer EPC-B2205
Advantech's compact industrial computer (EPC) covers a full range of chassis and systems for 3.5-inch single boards, Mini-ITX motherboards, and UTX motherboards. 1. Compact structure
Compared with Advantech's standard 4U industrial computer, EPC-B2205 has a more compact structure and dimensions of 250mm*255mm*98mm (width, depth, and height). It is Advantech's compact industrial computer, suitable for industrial scenarios with limited space. It can be easily installed in small control cabinets, chassis or equipment, saving space and improving layout flexibility.
2. Powerful performance
This Advantech streamlined industrial computer uses Intel Core 6th generation CPU, which can support up to 32G memory. The motherboard comes with an M.2 2242 interface, which is smaller and faster than Msata, and can support solid-state drives. With a powerful processor and large storage space, the device can exert excellent computing power, meet the needs of various industrial applications, and provide users with efficient and reliable industrial control solutions.
3. Rich ports
EPC-B2205 is equipped with rich I/O interfaces, 2 Gigabit network ports, 4 COM ports and 10 USB ports, supporting multiple industrial communication protocols and peripheral device connections, and also has three display interfaces: VGA+DVI+DP, supporting dual display, which can be freely combined and flexibly matched according to needs.
4. Strong scalability
EPC-B2205 has 1 PCIE slot, supports a half-height PCIE expansion card, can expand GTX1050GPU card; can also expand 1-4 ordinary Gigabit network cards, can support 6 network cameras; or expand 2 serial port cards, support up to 6 serial ports.
